Hi with at least three children on the way i thought it might be fun to gess at the names they will be given. i posted this before but put it in the wrong spot oopse. well have a good time. i think it might be possible that Gerori's girls will be named for their missing grandmothers not shur about mikhail's boy yet.

Dark Slayer Synopsis is up on Christine's website. They also have the cover art and it features a women, Ivory Malinov. So this one looks way cool but I have to admit that I am a little surprised at the the male. Dominoc has to be coming soon as well. Or maybe Dominoc and Zacharis are going to succomb to the dark and go vamp? That would be a shocker but perhaps necessary for the overall story....

Hi everyone,

Well, I guessI am new to this forum, I had access to the old board a few years ago and are just now getting back to the books. As I recall, there were many wonderful fanfictions written and I was hoping to read them again. But I can't seem to get into the chronicles sections.

I have sent email to the yahoo address and have also applied for entry by clicking on the links for both the Carpathian Chronicles and the Completed Chronicles. It's been a week...

How do you pronounce the name Dayan?

I always say "day" (like the word day) and "in". I'm not sure if that is right.

Anyone else watching this series on HBO? First episode was last week, and it made me dig out my copy of 'Dead Until Dark', the first Sookie Stackhouse book. I finished it tonight--and I've watched the first episode numerous times, HBO must show it ten times a day or something!--and it brings up to me some of the concerns I have about a Carpathian movie.

Now I realize liberties are going to be taken. Characters combined or left out, scenes altered or omitted. Heck Gone...

On Christine's website she has a book listed in 'coming soon' called Running Wild--and it is a LEOPARD BOOK!!!!!!! No additional details except that comes out sometime in 2009 from Jove. FOUR books next year!!! If we all live that long. The weather is nuts. I never thought FLORIDA would be one of the cooler places in June!!

Christine updated the new books section of her website.

It says that the next book in the Dark series (after Dark Curse) will be called "Dark Slayer" and will be released in 2009.

It doesn't say who the book is about though.

I was recently going through some of my old writings and I found a portion of a fanfic that I posted here titled "Sidney's Darkness"...I probally posted it in 2006 or maybe late 2005. I'm missing alot of the story and I can't seem to find it on the board anymore either. Does anyone know if it is somewhere around here and I can't find it or is it lost forever????? ...

New Cover

Dorchester is reissuing this next week with a new cover--and for once, it is an IMPROVEMENT over the original. Of course you old folks from mermie's day remember how horrified we all were with the original cover for THIS book--schoolmarm Savannah! Of course, after the perfection of Dark Prince, there was onlyone way to go and the covers did go that way--down. Even Dark Challenge with the gorgeous John DeSalvo was bad--because he is a BRUNETTE and no amount of white paint is going to cover...

Dragonseeker/Dragon Huh?

I think I missed something in the explanation of the Dragonseekers. What is the connection to actual dragons? Do they have dragon blood in them or what? I'm so confused! LOL! I was really trying to figure this out during Dark Demon.

I guess I'm still on her mailing list, because I got an email from her the other days saying things have been worked out with Dorchester and she will soon be out in 'traditional' publication form. To celebrate she is offering a Matrix story downloadable for $4.50. Naturally, the cynic in me says.
