I'd choose Dominic Dragonseeker. Why? Well, because he seemed to be very controlled and the whole green eyes thing.
I usually dislike green eyes because mine are very green and I've been stopped in the mall and told rather loudly, "Damn your eyes are green!" It gets on my nerves some times, but not really as much as it used to now. Now, Dominic's is one book I am patiently waiting for. He's not even developed as a Carpathian, and he's my favorite. |

This is a tough call. After reading Dark Prince (which I just happened to read first), I desperately wanted the next story to be about Gregori. I was mildly disappointed that Jacques's story would be next..but...was BLOWN AWAY by it. I still like to see Gregori in all of the stories, but Jacques and Shay's story captures my heart everytime I re-read it(...and re-read it and re-read it...) I think I'm in the same boat as Chessie...the wound thing got me.

OK like everybody else I love all the guys. They each have something great about them that I love. But I would have to say that I tend to go for Talon. Whenever I got to the part about the book he wrote to his lifemate that had not even been born yet, I thought I was going to cry. Then seeing how that book played a major part in her life was great. I know that he had the same macho man problems but besides that I thought he was great. I just want to say as an aside that Christine has ruined me for mortal men. I just have to hold out for my life mate to me. (I know I'm a major sap.) I just like that I don't seem to have to fight anyone for Talon. I get to keep him all to myself
 (happy dance time) But I think that Talon might get a run for his money from the new hero on the block. The hero of the next Dark Book from what I have been able to tell might just beat everyone that came before. But I'll hold my judgment until I read the next Dark Book. (the day it comes out)

I would choose Jaques because out of all Carpathians he treated his lifemate more of an equal apart from Byron because he showed Shae that her need for him was as equal as his need for her.
